A massive line of blinks, dots, and long to short noises are emitted over a long-range radio, streaming into the normal Jutland radio. It is fruitless, and short. It is the attempt to call for aid by the crew from Jutland, and it is clear how deeply in trouble the Jutland is after the distress call is met with no response.
