[Suggestion] A Humble Forum Proposition

If at all logistically possible on the forum, I would like to see a section dedicated to Individual character backstories. It could even possibly be an IC area, with every post being an addendum or addition to their own logs or files. As this is a Naval Vessel, I don't believe a Logbook would be too far out there, especially considering the implications of such a resource to those newly joining us. ICly, this could also be used to bring people up to speed with events, especially ones that wouldn't otherwise be known.

Even further, as these would likely be digitally filed, they could be select access only documents ICly for XOs/COs, allowing the officers to be appraised of individual's personal thoughts/actions. So even when the server is down or someone is forum bound only, they could potentially add to the roleplay.

Tl;dr: Board for IC Journals/Stories, can be used as CO/XO Resource.

The idea sounds about right, though I'm not the one to decide. As for server downtime, though...

Would it be possible for a dossier subforum to be added to the database? Would be nice to be able to list basic information about your character that would be accessible by the senior crew. Something with a basic format.

Branch, name, rank, gender, DOB/Age, enlistment date/time, height, weight, eye/hair color, service history, demerits/commendations, ect.

Could help people get the basics of their characters established and potentially lead to some conversations on the server.
