In 2187, a ship ventured to the planet Fate. The true nature of it's mission was unknown even to those who captained it; their instructions merely being to pick up a cargo and a VIP. What happened afterwards would decide the fate of the galaxy, and that of all the life within. The name of the ship was the UEN Jutland.
"Approaching Fate." "Monitors, lower velocity." "Lowering to ninety-eight pushes per minute." "Entering pull... magnetic field has us, approaching site."
The bridge was a hub of activity, people strutting about and relaying information to each other. Headsets constantly beeped, and data flew down the screens at a phenomenal rate. The Captain's entry was barely acknowledged.
"Facility ninety-five? Our approach run has begun." "Roger Jutland, proceed to the marker." "Keep her cool... temperature rising." "Alright, bring her in."
The ship plunged down through the clouds and the air, the windows being engulfed in orange and red. The engines gave a tremendous roar as the ship sunk through the toasting sky, yet not even a scratch appeared upon the mighty vessel. The Captain gave a grunt as she clenched the arms of her chair, the ship rattling ever so slightly.
Then suddenly the ship ground to a halt, the sound of machinery clanking at her bottom.
"Welcome to the facility, Jutland. We'll be sending your package over soon."
